KUMAVISION AG, provider of business software based on the Microsoft technology platform, will take over the DMS specialist HENRICHSEN1msd GmbH on January 2023, 4. With this step, the two companies are intensifying their long-standing collaboration on ERP and DMS solutions in the Microsoft environment. With the takeover, KUMAVISION is expanding its portfolio in the area of DMS and ECM in order to offer medium-sized companies holistic support for digital transformation from a single source. HENRICHSEN4msd GmbH will operate as KUMAVISION DMS GmbH in the future.
KUMAVISION and HENRICHSEN4msd can look back on a long-standing, close partnership. The two companies have around 60 jointly serviced customers. For KUMAVISION, DMS and ECM solutions are an important building block in the digitization strategy for medium-sized customers and thus an ideal complement to the offered ERP and CRM solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365. “By taking over HENRICHSEN4msd, we are strengthening our position as a holistic solution provider in the Microsoft environment. As in the CRM area, we are bundling our DMS activities in a powerful, agile subsidiary,” explains Kay von Wilcken, CEO of KUMAVISION AG.
For the HENRICHSEN4msd, the commitment of KUMAVISION is a clear commitment to the development of DMS solutions for Dynamics 365 Business Central to continue to focus and thus the existing customers at the Cloud-To optimally support the transformation. "The merger bundles HENRICHSEN4msd's many years of DMS experience and the comprehensive technology and consulting expertise of KUMAVISION as one of the leading Microsoft partners for ERP and CRM solutions in German-speaking countries. The numerous joint projects have shown that the two companies are a perfect match and create valuable synergy effects for customers," explains Michael Schaur, who, as the previous managing director of HENRICHSEN4msd, is also responsible for the operative business of KUMAVISION DMS GmbH. All employees will be transferred to the new company.

DMS solutions for the SaaS environment
Both companies consistently rely on Microsoft technology for the digital transformation of medium-sized customers. Consequently, one focus of the planned activities is to also use the DMS solutions in the Cloudand SaaS environment. A connector is currently being developed that allows the use of the DMS solution Saperion along with the SaaS solution Dynamics 365 Business Central will enable. “We are thus creating the basis for a holistic Cloud-Transformation of our customers, who will be able to migrate their entire IT landscape from ERP to CRM to DMS to the SaaS world in the future. It's not just about future security for existing solutions, but also about new possibilities that the Microsoft platform offers," comments Kay von Wilcken.
