Certifications for project management team

The KUMAVISION employees of the Project Management Office have successfully acquired certifications according to the PMI standard and Scrum.org.

In order to provide customers with the best possible support when introducing their business software, KUMAVISION has set up its own Project Management Office (PMO). "Our experience from over 1.800 projects shows that good project work is the basis for successful software implementation," says Carsten Severin, Head of the Project Management Office at KUMAVISION. The task of the Project Management Office is to develop and ensure standards as well as the further development of methods for project management. The team consists of project managers and consultants with different levels of experience, whose day-to-day business is software implementation. With the successful completion of the Project Management Professional (PMP) ® and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) ® certification, the entire team is now certified in accordance with the guidelines of the Project Management Institute (PMI®), the world's largest professional association for project management. In addition, the team members are certified by the global organization Scrum.org as Professional Scrum MasterTM Level I and II (PSM I & PSM II) and Professional Scrum Product OwnerTM Level II (PSPO II) and have extensive know-how in implementing more agile solutions Methods.

"With the continuous training of our employees, we ensure a high quality of advice and the best possible support for our customers, always on the cutting edge," says Carsten Severin. "Because not only the software, but also the methods are constantly evolving." Important subject areas are agile transformation and continuous improvement, which the PMO team supports customers in implementing. The certifications not only demonstrate the extensive know-how of the employees in project management, but are also evidence that the internationally valid PMO standards are adhered to in all projects carried out.

 

International Exchange

Internal training ensures that the newly acquired knowledge is available to the entire company and thus to all customers. "The PMO team serves as a kind of multiplier in the company," explains Carsten Severin. "We regularly hold training courses for the project managers with different focal points in order to pass on the know-how." The cooperation includes the entire KUMAVISION group: Joint events together with the employees of the Italian EOS Solutions Group ensure a lively transfer of knowledge between the two companies. In addition, KUMAVISION is involved in an external project manager-trainer network and is committed to high quality in the courses and coaching offered as well as a high degree of practical orientation.  

 

Professional project methodology

KUMAVISION has transferred the extensive knowledge from over 1.800 implementation projects into its own implementation methodology, which guarantees a structured approach and integrates all areas of the company as well as the employees involved.
