Review customer forum 2020: focus on digitization

With more than 250 participants, the customer forum also met with great interest among the customers of the business software specialist KUMAVISION in 2020. Although this was already the 19th edition, this year's customer forum was a real premiere: All events were held online after the Corona event, which was originally planned for spring, had to be canceled. "We are delighted that with over 250 customers we have achieved a similar number of participants as in the previous year. The strong response shows that despite or perhaps because of the economically challenging situation for many companies, there is great interest in our solutions, ”explains KUMAVISION board member and host Markus Birk. Accordingly, the focus in 2020 for user groups and expert lectures was on quickly implementable digitization offers with clear added value for practice.

Industry solutions for medium-sized companies

The focus for the more than 250 participants was on the user groups on the ERP industry solutions for the manufacturing industry, wholesale trade, project service providers, electronics industry, medical technology and healthcare market as well as international users. The participants informed themselves about functional innovations, industry trends and the strategic further development with current technological possibilities. The trend across industries was no longer to map all business requirements in the ERP software, but to rely on a flexible combination of different applications. "It is becoming increasingly clear that the globally unique Microsoft Dynamics platform optimally supports and accompanies our customers in the digital transformation," comments Markus Birk. The Microsoft technology platform does not only include the ERP software Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, but also numerous other applications for different business requirements such as sales, customer service, field service, business intelligence as well as workflow and automation solutions. Even IoT and AI can be combined Cloud- Integrate services just as easily as Microsoft Office and collaboration teams. The highlight: all applications work on a uniform database. Since there are no problems with interfaces and data silos, companies can flexibly combine the individual applications into an individual solution that can be quickly and easily adapted or scaled to changing requirements.

Digitization in practice

The ten expert lectures highlighted the topic of digitization from different perspectives. On the Agenda topics such as the Internet of Things, revision-proof document management, simple collaboration with Microsoft teams, transparent key figures and interactive reports with Power BI or insights into the agile project method Scrum. Practical examples with switched-on customers gave insights into the practical implementation and the practical benefits.

Customer Forum 2021

The date for the 2021 customer forum has already been set: the two-day event will take place on April 27 and 28.04.2021, XNUMX in Stuttgart. "We hope to be able to personally greet our customers again next year. Mutual exchange, networking with industry colleagues and discussions with our consultants are part of the DNA of the customer forum for our customers, as the feedback on the last events clearly shows, ”explains Markus Birk.
